The housing and frame
The type of tent fabric tells a lot about a tent's features and to what extent they protect you from outside influences. The outer canvas of the Santiago 5.0 dome tent is made of polyester (190T) and has a PU coating as an additional protective layer. This material is waterproof and creates a water column up to 4000 mm, in combination with the taped seams the tent is leak-proof. However, do not place items against the tent fabric (do not confuse condensation with leakage). The sewn-in PE groundsheet together with the Fiberglass (fiberglass) tent poles form the basis of the construction. And with the durable and strong steel pegs, the tent stands like a house!
Healthy air circulation
This spacious family tent is made with all-weather ventilation frames. Two permanent ventilation frames with spacer positioned at the front and "Dual Flow Vent System" at the back. Always keep these vents open for optimal operation, they not only provide continuous airflow but also reduce condensation. In addition, the inner tent features two permanent mesh panels at the top.
A well-deserved night's sleep
Air circulation is complete with the "Vario Vent Control System." Depending on the climate, this mesh-lined entrance can be easily operated from the inside at your discretion. The mesh portion of this system also keeps insects out of the inner tent. When fully open, simply stow the flap in the adjacent storage compartment. The black colored and breathable polyester inner tent works blackout, for anyone who likes to sleep in!
